The verdict updates as you answer
Was it work-related? On a public road, or a private one? Then the Reg 4 specified injuries, over-7-day incapacitation, Schedule 2 dangerous occurrences, occupational diseases, gas incidents and injuries to people not at work. The panel says reportable or not, and which route.

Deaths and specified injuries: notify without delay by telephone to the HSE Incident Contact Centre on 0345 300 9923, then the form within 10 days. Over-7-day: within 15 days. Non-workers and dangerous occurrences: within 10 days. Diseases: within 10 days of diagnosis. Gas: within 14 days.

RIDDOR 2013, precisely
The Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 2013 place the duty to report on the responsible person: the employer, a self-employed person, or the person in control of the premises. Reports are made to HSE online, or by telephone for fatal and specified injuries.
jobsafe records the submission and its reference; it does not file with HSE. The customer submits. The accident book declaration under the Social Security (Claims and Payments) Regulations 1979 is recorded on the same register.

A worker unable to do their normal duties for more than seven consecutive days, not counting the day of the accident but including weekends and rest days. jobsafe applies that rule for you and sets the 15-day deadline.
