1. Who we are

Jobmate Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Jobmate Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 11691025), and its registered office is 86 Tettenhall Road, Wolverhampton WV1 4TF, United Kingdom. Questions about this notice, or about your data, go to support@jobsafe.cloud.

When a customer uses the jobsafe app to record incidents, the customer is the data controller for that content and Jobmate Ltd is the data processor. That relationship is governed by our terms and conditions and, on request, a data processing agreement.

2. What this notice covers

This notice covers the marketing website at www.jobsafe.cloud: visiting it, the forms on it, booking a demo and contacting us. Signing up for and using the jobsafe app happen at app.jobsafe.cloud and are covered by our terms and the app’s own notices.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this site. If we ever add any, we will update this notice and the cookie notice first, and anything that needs your consent will not load until you give it.

3. What we collect, why, and on what basis

Visiting the site

Vercel, our hosting provider, records the technical information any web server needs to deliver a page: your IP address, the page requested, the time and your browser type. We use this to run the site securely and to diagnose faults (legitimate interests). We do not use it to identify you.

Fonts

The site’s typefaces are served from our own hosting with the rest of the site, so loading them sends nothing to a third party.

Search optimisation script

Every page loads a script from Search Atlas (dashboard.searchatlas.com) that applies search-engine improvements to the page, such as page titles, descriptions and structured data. Like any web request, it gives Search Atlas your IP address and browser details (legitimate interests).

Videos

The product film on the home page and the Academy lessons play from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. Once you do, Google receives your IP address and may store data on your device, under Google’s own privacy policy.

How our forms work

Every form on this site sends what you type to our own server, which emails it to our team and sends you one confirmation email, through Brevo. We record the page the form was on and any campaign tags in its link. To keep bots out, the forms use Cloudflare Turnstile: when you start filling one in, Cloudflare checks your browser, which means it processes your IP address and technical information about your browser, under its own privacy policy (legitimate interests: keeping spam out of our inbox). Nothing from Cloudflare loads until you start filling in a form.

Beyond Compliance and new Academy lessons

The weekly briefing has not launched yet. If you ask to be told when it does, or when new Academy lessons are published, we collect your email address and use it to send you that one email. The basis is your consent. We do not add you to a mailing list unless you then choose to subscribe.

The free toolkit

To download the toolkit we ask for your name, work email and company. We use this to deliver the toolkit, to email you a copy, and to follow up about jobsafe a few times by email, which is our legitimate interest as a business-to-business supplier; every follow-up has an unsubscribe link, and you can object at any time and we will stop. If you tick the box asking for occasional safety emails we send them on the basis of your consent. Lead details are emailed to our sales team.

Asking for demo times

The form on the demo page asks for your name, work email, company, team size and main need, an optional note, and whether you want occasional safety emails. We email your answers to our sales team so they can reply with times and follow up about jobsafe. That is our legitimate interest as a business-to-business supplier, and you can object at any time and we will stop. If you tick the box, we send the occasional safety email on the basis of your consent. Demo requests are kept in our email system; we do not copy them into any other sales system.

Booking a demo

“Book a demo” buttons take you to our booking page on calendly.com, Calendly’s own website. What you enter there is collected by Calendly under its own privacy notice and shared with us so we can hold the call.

Signing up and billing

“Start free trial” and “Log in” take you to the jobsafe app at app.jobsafe.cloud. Subscriptions are managed by Chargebee. Card and payment details are entered into and held by Chargebee and its payment partners; they never touch our servers. We keep the records we need to account for tax and VAT on every transaction (legal obligation) and to run your subscription (contract).

Emailing, phoning or messaging us

If you contact support@jobsafe.cloud, sales@jobsafe.cloud, the office number, or use the form on the contact page (your name, work email, topic and message), we keep the correspondence for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up (legitimate interests).

4. Who receives personal data

We do not sell, rent or exchange personal data. It reaches only the providers below, and anyone the law requires us to share it with. Vercel, Search Atlas, Brevo, Cloudflare, Fasthosts, Amazon Web Services and Chargebee process it on our instructions. Google and Calendly handle the parts named here under their own privacy notices.

Where a provider processes data outside the United Kingdom, we rely on the UK’s adequacy regulations, the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or the International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses.

5. How long we keep it

• Server logs: for as long as needed to keep the site secure and diagnose faults, then deleted.
• Notify-me sign-ups: until we have sent the one email you asked for, then deleted unless you subscribe.
• Toolkit, demo and contact-form leads: for as long as we are in contact about jobsafe, then reviewed and deleted when no longer needed.
• Other emails to sales@ and support@: for as long as we are in contact about jobsafe, then reviewed and deleted when no longer needed.
• Calendly bookings: for as long as we need them to hold and follow up the call.
• Billing records: for the period tax law requires.

6. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you can ask us to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data erased where there is no good reason for us to keep it;
• restrict or object to our processing, including any direct marketing;
• receive the data you gave us in a portable format;
• withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis we rely on, without affecting what was done before.

Email support@jobsafe.cloud and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk (opens in new tab).

7. Cookies

Our own code sets no cookies. The only thing it stores on your device is a strictly necessary timestamp in session storage after a failed page load, explained in the cookie notice. The cookie notice lists every third-party script and service the site loads, what each one does and when it loads.

8. Security

Customer data in the jobsafe app is held in UK-based Amazon Web Services infrastructure, encrypted in transit and at rest, and backed up automatically. Access is limited to the people who need it to run the service.

9. Children

This website and the jobsafe app are for businesses and their staff. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

10. Changes to this notice

We will update this notice when our processing changes and show the date at the top. The previous version was dated 25 September 2026.
